Have any other Mom's had this difficulty while they were pregnant? - The last few weeks of pregnancy I have found it's best laying on my side. If I spend long periods sitting it is torture for me and the baby. He must hate it because in this position he kicks my ribs constantly. It's not until I lay on my side that I find some relief. Books and websites I have read recommend laying primarily on the left side because it allows for the baby to receive the most nutrients. So today while my husband helped our friends move (and I was just there for moral support) luckily they already had their couches moved so I just sprawled out on my side because that's what is most comfortable. I hate that I am not more helpful right now; it gets frustrating feeling so helpless. Luckily I have understanding friends who knew I wasn't going to be much help - at least my husband made up for my lack of contribution!
